Understanding your result
In the sample, trimming turns “ Alice ” into “Alice” and “ Dublin ” into “Dublin”. Check a row with intentional spaces before applying the same options to your full table. Cleaning changes text; it does not check whether a name or address is correct.
What to do if you have a problem
If the preview puts a whole row in one cell, change the input delimiter. If a quoted field fails, check that its opening and closing quotes are paired. Use the original CSV when retrying so repeated cleanup does not hide a change you need to review.
What to know before using the result
Maximum 2 MB and 20,000 rows. Trimming can remove intentional whitespace. Quoted fields and multiline values are supported.
These tools work with pasted text or supported CSV files rather than Excel workbook files. CSV exports contain values and do not preserve workbook formatting, formulas or multiple worksheets. Formula builders produce formula text to use in Excel. Data processing runs in the browser tool.
