Instructions
- Enter distinct column numbers in the desired order, starting at 1.
- Select Exclude columns not listed if needed, then click Reorder columns and download.
Understanding your result
For sample headings Name,Age,City, an order of 3,1,2 produces City,Name,Age with each record's values moved together. Excluding unlisted columns removes their values from the output. Check the final heading row against the destination template.
What to do if you have a problem
If a column appears twice in your request, remove the repeated number. Column numbers begin at 1. If unwanted columns still appear, select the exclusion option. Keep the original when excluding columns so you can recover information that is absent from the new file.
What to know before using the result
Maximum 2 MB and 20,000 rows. Unlisted columns are appended in original order unless explicitly excluded. The first row is reordered with all other rows. Ragged rows are rejected.
These tools work with pasted text or supported CSV files rather than Excel workbook files. CSV exports contain values and do not preserve workbook formatting, formulas or multiple worksheets. Formula builders produce formula text to use in Excel. Data processing runs in the browser tool.
