Lets Learn the Syntax of SUMIFs function;

=SUMIF(range,criteria,[sum_range])

The SUMIF function takes three arguments.

range: The range of cells that you want to calculate the sum for.

criteria: The criterion or condition that you want to test each cell in the range against.

sum_range: (optional) The range of cells that you want to include in the calculation, specified as a comma-separated list. If this argument is omitted, SUMIF uses the cells in range as both

the criteria and the sum_range. If this argument is used, it must be a subset of range that does not include any blank or non-numeric cells.

For example: '=SUMIF(A12:G12,'red',B13)'. In this example, SUMIF will return the sum of all cells in range A12:G12 that contain the word 'red'.

Note that you cannot use a named range as part of sum_range. I hope this blog post on count and sum formulas is served to your needs.
